breaknowly is a specialist UK training centre dedicated to live production. We teach the exact skills that keep a broadcast on air: multi-camera switching, real-time video operation, live directing, and the management that holds a production together.
Our story
breaknowly was founded by a group of technical directors and vision mixer operators who noticed the same gap on every crew call: too few people trained to operate under real live conditions. We set out to close that gap with hands-on, studio-based training rather than theory-heavy courses.
Today we run courses across control rooms and studios in the UK, working with broadcasters, streaming production companies, and events crews to place graduates directly into live roles.
